Flood Risk America created the Wind-Driven Rain/ Hail Shield after they had a specific client who had hundreds and thousands of dollars worth of flood loss due to wind driven rain versus flooding from rising water that damaged the lobby of their property.
To create this flood protection they used a unique fabric that is made out of military grade material and will stop 98% of wind-driven rain. The FRA wind shield is bullet proof and designed to withstand wind loads up to 170 miles per hour (durable polyester webbing, tensile strength for up to 35,000 LBS.).

It is both easy to install and remove, taking only a few minutes. The Compression Beams coupled with the FRA Flood Panel are made out of aluminum material so that the locking deck beam is easy to handle and is more cost-efficient to ship than most steel shoring beams. The high-strength aluminum offers strength comparable to steel shoring beams. E-fitting ends easily and securely lock into track systems. With a full 9.3″ of adjustability and weighing only 16 lbs. per beam, these compression beams work great with the FRA Panel to provide an adequate compression and seal.
