Flood Risk America Helps Victims of Hurricane Mathew With FEMA Grant and Mitigation Money

Hurricane Matthew had devastating effects across the Atlantic coast. As a result of this catastrophic event, many businesses have been closed down due to flooding, not only leaving many people out of work, but also billions of dollars in reconstruction value.

“We are deeply sorry for the losses that anyone has faced during Hurricane Matthew and we want to do whatever we can to help property/business owners understand their available options, preventing this from happening in the future,” said Stephen Gill, CEO of Flood Risk America.

Currently, FEMA administers three programs that provide funding for eligible mitigation planning and projects that reduce disaster losses and protect life and property from future disaster damages. The three programs are the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP), the Flood Mitigation Assistance (FMA) Program, and the Pre-Disaster Mitigation (PDM) Program.

"We want to do whatever we can to help property/business owners understand their available options, preventing this from happening in the future,” Stephen Gill, CEO Flood Risk America

Flood Risk America is ready to help with the FEMA Grant and Mitigation assistance. Flood Risk America will review your property’s coverage for free and determine which preventative measures will reduce potential damages and avoid any major flood loss.

Flooding has caused significant damage and disruption, which will only increase in frequency and magnitude in the future. “Our job is to keep you and your property protected,” said Stephen Gill.
